José Gabriel Campos Comédien, Comique
Actor. Born in Cartagena (Spain). He's been working in the industry for over 10 years. From 2014 to 2020 he worked in the award-winning tv series 'El secreto de Puente Viejo' (shown in Spain, Italy, Chile, USA, etc.). His last work was the short film 'There Will Be Monsters' (2020) by Carlota Martínez-Pereda (Goya Award Winner).
José Gabriel has studied at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático of Murcia, Spain (BA in Acting, 2008-12). He specializes in Commedia dell'Arte with his 'maestro' Antonio Fava (since 2009), working as his assistant and as an actor in his company (ArscomicA).
He has taught Expressive Technique at Scuola Internazionale dell'Attore Comico of Antonio Fava (Italy) since 2010. He's also trained in clown and improvisation by Antón Valén (Clown Cirque du Soleil), Vladimir Olshansky and Carles Castillo, and in physical theater with Gemma Galiana and Matej Matejka (Teatr Zar) , among others. He studied also with Norman Taylor, Claudia Contin, Andrés del Bosque, José Carlos Plaza, etc.
He holds a BA in Translation and Interpreting (2005). He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, Italian and German. He has run several Commedia dell'Arte workshops in Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Brazil.
