Gizem Kaplan Comédienne
Hi, I'm Gizem, a trained actor based in Germany. I have trained in Cologne at the Theaterakademie Köln, which then led me to moving to NYC to hone my craft at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, where I completed the 2-year Conservatory. A huge part of my training was American accent acquisition, where I also got to explore and learn new accents. I had the opportunity to play off-broadway and off-off-broadway, which must have been the most exciting experiences in my Acting career, next to being directed by Neil Patrick Harris in a live horror show.
My favorite part about being an actor is, besides being able to play and live different lives, the movement. Getting to know your body and therefore yourself on an increasingly deeper level has absolutely contributed to my self perception and self-confidence.
