Yasemin Delikan Comédienne
I have always loved being in front of the camera, but before starting my acting career, I trained in a unique form of dance: Bollywood! Though my roots are German and Turkish, I’ve always felt a deep connection to India. When I was given the chance to perform in a New Year's Eve show in Mumbai, I eagerly packed my bags, and my journey began.
What was meant to be a six-week trip turned into three incredible years. The flight back to Munich had to leave without me, as I was captivated by the vibrant chaos and mystery of Mumbai. Driven by my passion for acting and a desire to shine in Bollywood films, I immersed myself in the industry. After six months of adapting to the city and its culture, I signed with an international modeling agency. I attended countless castings, learned the language, and engaged in extensive modeling work, eventually landing my first role in a TV series. This opportunity led to a web series produced by Priyanka Chopra, followed by several more television projects, including a series that aired in both Russia and Germany, as well as a role in a U.S. film shot in India.
Throughout this journey, I embraced numerous fashion shoots, served as the face of a jewelry campaign, and appeared in Indian commercials and music videos. For me, acting, dancing, and modeling beautifully complement one another.
Acting is my passion; it allows me to explore diverse lives, emotions, and stories. I genuinely love the collaborative spirit of working on set with the entire team. Each project feels like joining a new film family, and it always hurts to say goodbye when it's over. I am committed to giving more than a hundred percent to achieve the best results, as I believe that the magic of storytelling truly comes from our collective effort.
After my adventures in India, I returned to Munich, where I earned my Master’s in Acting from the Munich Film Academy. Since then, I have appeared in several TV series, independent feature films and commercials.
Additionally, I’ve gained valuable insights into the work behind the camera, serving as an assistant director for smaller advertising projects and short films, or where I contributed to casting and the creative process.
